- The Defense Logistics Agency, Enterprise Support Office intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.. The purpose of this procurement is to provide Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) with a quantity of the following: (4) Tandberg MXP 1700 Desktop Units (Secure VTC) (1) MPS Multi-Control Unit plus Components (36 Ports Total) (1) Tandberg Management Suite (TMS) Server License (includes 10 Licenses) This requirement is based upon the following directives: (a) DOD Directive 4630.5, Interoperability and Supportability of Information Technology (IT) and National Security Systems (NSS), 5 May 2004 (b) CJCSI 6212.01C, Interoperability and Supportability of Information Technology and National Security Systems, 20 November 2003 (c) Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Memorandum for the Chief Information Officers, Transition Planning for Internet Protocol Version 6 (Ipv6) This notice is to inform the public that DLA-DES-A (Contracting Services Office) intends to limit competition under FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). Certified and responsible resellers of Tandberg are invited to submit a quotation which shall be considered by DLA. All responses must be received within 3 calendar days from the date of this announcement to be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing.
