- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision and equipment and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work complete in place, as shown on the drawings, specified in the Statement of Work, or as needed to provide the Government a complete and useable product. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the Contract Documents. The following is a summary of work for the project, which is located at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The project shall include but is not limited to: 1. Repair, replacement, and minor construction of base pavements, water distribution systems, wastewater distribution systems and facilities including, but not limited to sidewalks, driveways, roads, parking lots, drainage systems, base airfield pavements, water and wastewater distribution piping and facilities, force mains, lift stations, and other related work. 2. Specific description of the work is detailed in: a. Delivery Orders. b. Specifications. c. Drawings. The above description of work is for the purpose of general information only and is not intended to include and describe every feature or item of work or to define the scope of work. This acquisition will be issued full and open competition IAW the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237310 with a size standard of $31M; the SIC code was 1611. Performance period is one year for the basic contract period plus four one-year options. The guaranteed minimum for the life of the contract is $25,000.00 payable the first year of the contract. The estimated contract value for the five years will be more than $10,000,000.00, with a minimum delivery order amount of $2,000 and a maximum delivery order amount of $1.5M. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. An Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) clause will be included for identified line items by the Government. The issuance date for the solicitation is projected to be on 5 March 2007. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of the government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
