- Description
- The Boundary Creek Barracks Project consists of all work necessary to furnish and install a 3-bedroom, approximately 1230 square foot modular barracks building at the boundary Creek Administrative site. Work includes, but is not limited to, constructing a modular building, moving the building to the site, constructing a foundation on the site for the modular barracks building; construction of LPG tank pad and gas line from tank to building; connecting the building to the site utilities; and finish grading of the site. The project is located on the Middle Fork Ranger District, Salmon-Challis National Forest, Valley County, Idaho. This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Request For Proposal (RFP) under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The completion date for this project will be October 15, 2007. Normal construction season for the Boundary Creek area is from June 1 to October 15, weather may allow for a longer season. The Contractor will not be allowed to plow open the road to begin work early or to extend the fall construction window beyond the normal construction season. If heavy snows occur after June 1 or prior to October 15, the contractor may open road to retrieve supplies and equipment. Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, June 14, 2007. The estimated price range is $100,000 to $250,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately May 14, 2007, and may be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
