- Description
- Field Engineering Services to oversee repair and service of USNS DIEHL (T-AO 193) electrical work items, which include the requirement to clean, inspect and repair the main and emergency electrical switchboards, accomplish the ovrerhaul of the No. 3 and 4 SSDG Alternator overhaul, also, clean, inspect and repair various group control centers and motor controllers, and accomplish No. 1 and NO. 2 PTO overhaul. Performance location to be determined pending award of MTA overhaul contract in the FAR EAST. Performance period to begin 01 October 2007. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date and time established in the Solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the government.
