Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for construction services to renovate existing space to construct a new fitness center at the National Center, Reston, VA. Request for Proposal (RFP) 07HQSS0029 will be posted on electronic commerce on or about August 1, 2007. Details may be viewed on the Department of Interior Business Opportunities website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The posted RFP will contain uniform contract format (Section B-M). All drawings will be handed out at the scheduled site visit or by contacting the Contracting Officer via email at kphillip@usgs.gov. All requests must contain the prospective bidders complete company name, mailing address and phone number. Phone requests will not be accepted. The specific date and time for the site visit will be set forth in the solicitation. The anticipated period of performance is 120 days after notice to proceed. The estimated cost for this acquisition is between $100,000.00 and $200,000.00. The NAICS Code is 236220. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED.
