- This notice was previously synopsized as solicitation FA4417-07-R-0035. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work complete in place, as shown on the drawings, specified in the specification, or as needed to repair Base Pool Facility, Building 90300 at Hurlburt Field, FL, includeing but not limited toreinstalling paver deck with drain strips, refinishing pool surface, replacing the pool fence ad repairing the showers in men?s and women?s locker rooms. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City, Florida and Pensacola. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238990 with a size standard of $13M; the SIC code is 1799. Award of this contract will be made utilizing competitive best value source selection procedures in which competing offerors' past performance history will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 180 calendar days. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 28 Jul 07. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov.
