Description
THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source follow-on requirement for Aquinas equipment and service. IAW FAR 6.302-1 and pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy the agency requirement. The requirement is for the sustainment of Science Horizons Inc. (SH) proprietary Aquinas components in the seismic, hydroacoustic, and infrasonic detection subsystems associated with the United States Atomic Energy Detection System (USAEDS) and International Monitoring System (IMS). This requirement is to provide Aquinas components to be integrated with Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical support. A firm-fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is contemplated for a five (5) year contract period of performance. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and size standard are 541512/$23.0 million. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. This requirement is for the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC). The 45th Contracting Squadron has determined that Science Horizons Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement. Phone calls will not be accepted. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 29 Jul 2007 at www.fbo.gov . NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.
