TF33 DISK, COMPRESSOR AIR SOL FA8104-07-Q-0438 Item 0001 NSN: 2840-01-486-3632 RV, P/N: 735114. Item Description: 14th stage compressor disk is thin disk assembly with a central bore. It has slots for installing 85 individual compressor blades. The function of the disk is retain 14th stage compressor blades as part of the high speed compressor assembly. The dimensions are near 5.8? center bore and near 21.5? outer DIA with 85 blade slots. The material consists of PWA 1022 nickel alloy. Applicable to: TF33 Engine Delivery: On or Before 30 June 2008 Quantity: Min 2 EA, Med 6 EA, Max 9 EA New Material Solicited. New/Unused surplus material may be considered The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 2 August 2007. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 17 August 2007. The anticipated award date will be 1 October 2007. No telephone requests. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from this office. The solicitation will be available for download only at www.fbo.gov. It is anticipated that this requirement will be sole source to United Technologies. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
