- NOTICE OF INTENT TO PURCHASE OF BRAND NAME EQUIPMENT. The following notice is being posted IAW Office of Federal Procurement Policy memo dtd 11 Apr 05 and 17 Apr 06- Publication of Brand Name Justifications. Contracting Office: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Material Command, HQ 754TH Electronic Systems Group (ELSG), 210 East Moore Dr., Room 102, MAFB-Gunter Annex AL 36114-3000 Notice: The Capability Integration Environment (CIE) under 643rd Electronic Systems Squadron (ELSS) provides standard configuration environments to mimic the operational target environments of developing Automated Information Systems (AIS) during the development and test phases of acquisition. The CIE must emulate the production GCSS-AF from a systems level which requires only Sun equipment for its UNIX environment. Justification: See attached Justification and Approval (J&A). This notice of intent is not a request for proposal. The government's intent is to procure the items listed in t he J&A through the competitively awarded ITES contract. However, all responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
