- This amendment changes the set-a-side from "Small Business" to "Service-Disabaled Veteran Owned" and removes FAR clause 52.217.28 "Rerepresentation of Small Business Size Standards and adds FAR clause 52.219-28 ? Post-Award Small Business Program Rerepresentation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued, paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This is a commercial solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, solicitation no. FA4690-07-Q-0016 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) on 17 July 2007. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. FAR clause descriptions are available via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The set-aside for this solicitation is for a 100% service disabled veteran owned small business. NAICS code: 335931. Size Standard: 500 employees. This solicitation is for the following: Six (6) each; 115 foot, 230 VAC, 260 AMP, Phase balanced B-1 Bomber power cable assembly. Cables will be constructed with 6 each AWG #4 for power conductors 1 each #1 for neutral conductor, and 18 AWG #18 for control conductors. Cable weighs approximately 2.1 lbs per foot. Cable WILL NOT have replaceable contact section. The estimated date of delivery will be 22 August 2007 with FOB Destination for delivery to 28 MXS, Bldg 1735 Bergstrom Drive, Ellsworth AFB, SD 57706. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
