Description

This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is request for quotation (RFQ) number HSCG80-08-Q-313004. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, and competence to perform the following for USCG 47318 (Station Sand Key) : Welding Repairs, Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Rub Rail System, Clean and Inspect Fuel Tank (Includes Disposal),Inspect and Test Buoyancy Chamber, Remove and Reinstall Main Engines, Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Cardan Shafts Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Propeller Shafts, Renew Water-Lubricated Shaft Bearings Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Propellers, Clean & Inspect Engine Exhaust System Test, Overhaul, & Renew Valves, Inspect & Overhaul Sea Strainers, Remove, Inspect, & Reinstall Rudder Assemblies, Remove, Inspect & Reinstall Tow Reels, Preserve Underwater Body, Routine Drydocking Tasks, Bilge Preservation ? The RFQ package and Specifications will be available electronically on or about August 13, 2007. Funds are not presently available for this. Far part 52.232-18 Availability of funds applies to this project. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. This is a total small business set-aside. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Price and Technically acceptable.
