- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases (CCID), National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, Global Immunization Division is seeking to award a commercial purchase order to provide simultaneous translation services for the China EPI Training Course to be held at the Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta from October 15-26, 2007. The vendor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to complete the following tasks: 1) Provide two (2) interpreters fluent in English<>Mandarin and capable of simultaneous translation for 10 working days. Interpreters should also be able to translate epidemiological and medical terms, 2) Provide booth or console capable of supporting the interpreters, 3) Provide 45 headphones and receivers for presenters and attendees, 4) Provide set-up and dismantling of translation equipment, 5) Provide on-site technician for equipment during working days. The Government intends to Request quotes on 31 July 2007, with award by 31 August 2007. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Please notify the POC for this announcement if you wish to receive the RFQ when issued.
