Description
THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF RFP ISSUANCE. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR AWARD A CONTRACT. The General Services Administration anticipates a competitive acquisition to operate a full-service cafeteria on the fifth floor at the Hanley US Courthouse and Federal Building, Syracuse, NY, from the hours of 7 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday, except for holidays observed by the Federal Government. The Government anticipates a five-year contract with two, five-year option periods. Contractor shall provide all supervision, management, labor, materials, supplies, and some equipment. Dining room seating capacity is approximately 138. Building population is approximately 400 with about 150 daily visitors. Contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and the repair cost for contractor-owned equipment. Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining an equipment inventory, monitoring of equipment performance, and reporting of potential repairs to the Government for Government-owned equipment. Contractors will be required to sign a Document Security Notice. Contractors and all employees will be required to submit documentation for security clearances. Contractors will be required to submit a qualification and financial information statement. Contractors will be required to have workers, employee, and liability insurances. Contractor shall maintain monthly accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The Government shall not impose any short-term limit on the accumulation of profit by the Contractor. Contractor shall pay the Government the amount per calendar month equal to one and one-half percent of the net sales. This fee shall be applied to the expenses of the Government for the depreciation of equipment, space, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, and janitorial services. Contractor shall be required to provide a valid business license or other documentation granted by the state or local jurisdiction, DUNS number, TAX ID number, street address, telephone number, and email address.
