Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston, SC, hereafter referred to as SSCC intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for In-Service Engineering Support services for various navigation systems. Tasking includes system integration, design and development, integrated logistics, depot repair, and other related services for US Navy and Foreign Military shipboard and shore applications in support NAVSEA, SPAWAR and FMS. The planned contract requires expertise and abilities in shipboard troubleshooting, problem resolution, repair, maintenance, alignment and test procedures for hardware, firmware, and software to include the AN/WSN-7 Ring Laser Gyro Navigator, the IP-1747 Enhanced Control Display Unit, AN/SSN-6 Navigation Sensor System Interface, and Aircraft Inertial Alignment Systems (See attached draft Statement of Work (SOW)below. The primary places of performance include Charleston, SC, Norfolk, VA, and other locations. The acquisition strategy is unrestricted. The Government intends to make a single award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Cost Plus Fixed Fee type service contract with delivery/task orders. The period of performance will be a base year with four (4) one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 with a size standard of $25 million. The FSC Code is N099. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available October 2007 on the SPAWAR E-Commerce Website: https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil. The total estimated value is $100 Million.
