- Description
- The U.S. Forest Service, Eastern Administrative Zone Acquisition group has a requirement from the Southern Research Station, Southern Global Change Program to install four H-flumes in four streams in Durham and Granville counties, NC. The streams will be outfitted with control structures to ensure accurate flow measurements for an (up to) five year watershed research study. The project will be three phase: 1) Prefabricated flume installation, 2) Existing weir refurbishing, and 3) Annual structure and equipment maintenance which will include checking the flumes and weirs for seepage, cracks and overall funcionality. The USDA Forest Service will provide the flumes. All other equipment, tools and supplies shall be provided by the contractor. The selection process will be based on Experience, Past Performance and Price. The request for quotes will be posted on or after 5/23/2007. Interested vendors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration http://www.ccr.gov/. There will be a project site visit, date/time to be announced.
