- NASA/KSC has a requirement for developer licenses with maintenance and technical support per the attached Salient Specifications. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation that represents the lowest price technically acceptable to the Government, in accordance with FAR 15.101. See attached document for preparation instructions. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-18. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 511210 and 500 respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery shall be FOB Destination, Kennedy Space Center, FL. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than Wednesday, July 25, 2007. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). Offers for the items(s) described above are due by Friday, August 3, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time to NASA Kennedy Space Center, Mail Code: OP-MS, Attn: Jessica Paglialonga, Kennedy Space Center FL 32899 or via e-mail jessica.paglialonga@nasa.gov (preferred) and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
