- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston has a commercial sole source requirement for nine (9) SUN T2000 servers manufactured by Sun MicroSystems Inc. (SUN) 4150 Network Cir., Santa Clara, CA 95054-1778 and intends to compete this requirement among authorized small business distributors. The proposed acquisition for each server must meet the following specifications: Sunfire T2000 Server 8 core 1.2GHz UltraSPARC T1 processor 16GB DDR2 memory (16 x 1GB DIMMs) QTY (4) 146GB, 10K RPM, 2.5" SAS disk drives QTY (1) DVD-RO/CD-RW slimline drive QTY (2) (N+1) power supplies QTY (4) 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports QTY (1) serial port QTY (3) PCI-E slots QTY (2) Localized Power Cord Kit, North American/Asian A firm fixed price type contract is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334111 and the size standard is 1000 employees. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals.
