- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. This requirement is for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a System of Rapidly Deployable Shelters (SORDS), with a minimum/maximum of $35,000/$150 million. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database. A firm fixed-price contract is anticipated. Delivery required is F.O.B. Destination. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considering past performance and price related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 16 July 2007 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. ?No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed?. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on ?Submit Bid? does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of the offeror to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane.
