Description

Project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary in accordance with the plans and specification for the widening of approximately 2300 feet of a State road to create turn lanes and the realignment of approximately 750 feet of road to match up with the entrance to a US Fish and Wildlife Service refuge near Marion, Illinois. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted with regards to business size and is NOT set-aside for small business concerns under the authority of Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS), 237310, Highway, Streets, and Bridges, with a size standard of $31.0 million or less will be used to determine business status. The solicitation package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://fedbizopps.gov on or about 07/27/07 with bid opening scheduled for 08/28/07.
