- Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Campbell Scientific, Inc., 815 W. 1800 North, Logan, UT 84321 for 1 each Automated Weather Station for data acquisition for seis mic-acoustic project to include: 3 each, Micrologger, ST Tested -25 to +50C, SW Standard 3 yr Warranty, NB Base with No Battery, and NC No Calibration Cert; 2 each, Measurement and Control Datalogger, ST Tested -25 to +50C, SW Standard 3yr Warranty, NC No Calibration Cert; 5 each, 12V Power Supply with Charging Regulator and 7 Ahr Sealed Rechargeable Battery, SW Standard 1 yr Warranty; 5 each, 10W Solar Panel, 15 ft cable; 2 each, Keyboard/Display for CR1000 or CR800; 5 each CompactFlash Module, ST Tested -25 to +50C, SW Standard 1 yr Warranty; 10 each 256M CompactFlash Memory Card (-40 to +85C); 8 each CR1000WP Insulated Terminal Cover; 10 each, Vaisala Temperature/RH Probe, 10 ft cable per probe; 10 each RM Young 6-Plate Gill Solar Radiation Shield; 5 eac h Vaisala PTB101B Barometer (600 1060 Hpa), 30 inch cable; 10 each, Gill 2-D Sonic Wind Sensor w/RS-232 Output, 10 ft cable per sensor; 5 each, GARMIN GPS Receiver w/Integrated Antenna, 15 ft cable; 5 each, GPS16 HVS RJ45 Interface Cable with Pigtails, 8 inch; 3 each, GPS16-HVS RJ45 to RS-232 Adapter w/8 inch Power leads; 5 each, Water Content Reflectometer, 10 ft cable per probe; 6 each, Apogee Infrared Radiometer, Standard FOV, 15 ft cable; 8 each, Temp Probe (-35 to +50C) 10 ft cable per probe; 1 eac h, Datalogger Support Software; 2 each, Additional Copies on Same Order; and 1 each Expedited Freight to Vicksburg, MS. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) only one responsible source and no other supplies o r services will satisfy agency requirements. Campbell products are compatible with equipment already in place. This is for work in Iraq and is therefore sensitive about compatibility. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 . Interested organizations may submit their capabilities/qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 0700 hours Central Time Zone on 17 July 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated sol ely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solel y within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
