- Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency (USACA), Southern Region, Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a contract on other than full and open competition basis with Alliant-Ammunition Accessories Inc., 2299 Sn ake River Avenue, Lewiston, ID 83501-9685 for the purchase of two (2) systems - Model Number - NR51000 Foamer Barrel Cleaning System to include the following accessories: 1) Two of Foam Barrel Cleaning system: one each - Foam liquid for cleaning system in 55 gallons drum; one each - Adapter set 105mm; one each - Adapter set 155mm - M199 gun tubes; one each - Adapter set 155mm - M284 gun tubes; one each - Adapter set 155mm M185 gun tubes; ten each - Steel brushes for 105mm; ten each - Steel brushes for 155mm; ten of soft nylon brushes for 105mm ten of soft nylon brushes for 155mm 2) Two of Vibrating Pneumatic Brush: Adapter set of brush head 105mm and plastic slide Adapter set of brush head 120mm and plastic slide; Adapter set of brush head 155mm and plastic slide; One set - Brush coils for 105mm ; One set - Brush coils for 120mm; One set - Brush coils for 155mm; --And--two (2) systems - Model Number - NR51000 Foamer Barrel Cleaning System to include the following accessories: 1) Two of Foam Barrel Cleaning system: one each - Foam liquid for clea ning system in 55 gallons drum; one each - Adapter set 105mm - M68 gun tubes; one each - Adapter set 120mm - M256 gun tubes; ten each - Steel brushes for 105mm; ten each - Steel brushes for 120mm; ten each - Soft nylon brushes for 105mm; ten each - Soft n ylon brushes for 120mm; 2) Two of Vibrating Pneumatic Brush one each - Adapter set for brush head 105mm and plastic slide; one each - Adapter set for brush head 120mm and plastic slide; Ten set - Brush coils for 105mm; Ten set - Brush coils for 120mm; 3) T wo of foam barrel cleaning system for 25mm guns. These gun tube cleaning systems will be utilized at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma Test Center Directorate, Meteorology & Simulation Division on an other than full and open competition ba sis. This acquisition will be issued using Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, FAR Part 13.5 The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3482 and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332992 with a Size Standard of 1000 empl oyees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses other than the above source may identify their interest and capabilities to perform the requirement by submitting a proposal via email or facsimile with complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number and business size. Please forward your information not later then 4:30 PM MST on 25 July 2007 to the address contained in this notice. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 5 days instead of 45 days.
