Description
This is a second amendment to correct the first amendment to reflect the correct quantities. The amended increase from 16 each to a total quantity of 24 the HP BL20PG3/G4 Adapter Cards. The quantity of the McData 4GB San Switches is 8 each. 0001 P/N 361426-B21 HP BL20PG3/G4 FC Adapter Card --24 each 0002 P/N A8001A McData 4GB SAN Switch ---8 each The required date of delivery is no later than 30 Days After Receipt of Order (ARO). The Total Quoted Price Shall Include The Shipping Cost. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. When proposing an equal product be sure to to submit documentation which demonstrates the items comliance with the characteristics as mentioned above. In addition, all requested shelter parts identified must be compatible with the quoted shelters. Only one award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror who meets the requirement. It is our intent to evaluate offers and award without discussions; however, we reserve the right to hold discussions. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. The provision at FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause at AFFARS 5352.201-9101?Ombudsman - (a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMB Circular A-76 competition performance decisions). (d) The ombudsman has no authority to render a decision that binds the agency. (e) Do not contact the ombudsman to request copies of the solicitation, verify offer due date, or clarify technical requirements. Such inquiries shall be directed to the Contracting Officer. In Accordance With (IAW) FAR 52.211-14, this is a DO rated order under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS).
