- Description
- The VA Surgical Service, Grand Junction, CO intends to negotiate a medical resource contract with Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine to provided orthopedic services at the Grand Junction Medical Center. The contractor will provide a fully credentialed physician to perform orthopedic consults, outpatient clinics and operative procedures to the area's veteran population. The time expenditure for both clinic and surgical coverage is estimated to be one day every other week. The contractor will also provide emergency coverage after hours, on weekends, and national holidays and must report one hour after notification. If you are a Grand Junction based orthopedic surgeon interested in performing part-time duties at VA Medical facility, you may e-mail your qualifications to the Contracting Officer on or before July 20, 2007 who will forward the information to the appropriate parties for consideration.
