- Contract shall completely prepare the site for building operations including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials, and equipment necessary for project 538-06-115 "Athens C.B.O.C. Changes at 510 West Union, Athens Ohio for the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio as required by the drawing and specifications. Work to be completed within 150 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans, specifications and drawings will be available on the Fedbizopps website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about July 26, 2007. Once the drawings and specifications are available on Fedbizopps a hard copy may be provided by written requested to the Contracting Officer; request may be faxed 740-772-7008. Telephone inquires or request will not be accepted. Any questions regarding this notice are to be directed in writing to Valerie.morris@va.gov Estimated cost range is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held August 9, 2007 at 10:00 am (local time) at 510 West Union, Athens, Ohio. All prospective contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers are urges to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. BOD August 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. (EST) at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Building 1, room 121, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio. This solicitation is100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business pursuant to the authority of FAR 19.14, Public Law 109-461 and the Veterans Benefits Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006. The SDVOSB must be registered and verified in all of the following databases: http://www.vetbiz.gov, http://www.ccr.gov and http://www.orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. Offerors must ensure that their registrations in the above mentioned databases are correct, current, and accurate and have not expired. The NAICS code for this project is 236220.
