- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Columbia SC VISN7, intends to award a sole source procurement with USC School of Medicine, Columbia SC, for research animals to provide feeding/nourishment as many times a day as is the norm of that type of animal. The contractor shall provide food, beddings, and administration of animal care service in compliance with AAALAC and USDA standards as would be appropriate to have such research animals in a ready usable condition twenty-four (24) hours a day. The contractor shall be Association of Assessment and accreditation of laboratory Animal Care International certified. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements, NAICS code is 812910. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
