- The Department of Veterans Affairs Alexandria VA Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with CENLA Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council, d.b.a. Rainbow House Detox, Pineville, Louisiana to take in authorized veteran personnel from the local vicinity of the Alexandria VA Medical Center, located at 2495 Shreveport Highway, Pineville, Louisiana and provide a safe environment while under the Detox program of the Alexandria VA Medical Center. This procurement is being conducted in accordance Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS code 621420 applies. CENLA Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council is classified as a large business concern and is the only known source within the Pineville, LA area that provides this service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification the Contracting Office within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
