- Request for Proposal number DOLJ08SA00002 for outreach, admissions and career transition services for youth in the States of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington will be available approximately July 27, 2007, at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov. Job Corps is a program that targets disadvantaged and at-risk youth ages 16 through 24, and emphasizes long-term employability by providing educational and occupational skills training along with support services, in a residential setting The successful offeror will provide outreach and admissions for 3,985 arrivals annually from the state of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, and career transition services annually for 3,585 Job Corps youth returning to the states of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The resultant contract will cover the period April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2010, plus three unilateral option years. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held at U.S. Department of Labor, 90 7th Street, (Room number TBD), San Francisco, CA on Friday, August 3, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It is recommended that interested parties download the RFP from the website prior to the conference and bring the RFP to the conference. All questions prior to the pre-proposal conference should be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, Linda MacClellan, macclellan.linda@dol.gov. Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than 5:00 p.m., local time, on September 12, 2007, at the following address: U. S. Department of Labor, Office of Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Room 12-300, San Francisco, CA 94103, Attn: Linda MacClellan, Contracting Officer. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency.
