- Request for Proposal number DOLJ08SA00001 for continued operation of the Sacramento Job Corps Center located at 3100 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, California, 95832, will be made available approximately July 27, 2007 by written request to agency, or at the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. This is a small-business set-aside. Job Corps is a residential training program for economically disadvantaged youth, between the ages of 16 and 24. The successful offeror will manage and operate a government-owned facility and hire staff for residential living, basic education, vocational training, outreach, career development, career transition services, and health care services in accordance with the applicable DOL/Job Corps regulations. This contract will not include any direct Outreach/Admissions services. The contract capacity is for 166 residential males, 166 residential females, 73 non-residential males, and 72 non-residential females for a total capacity of 477 trainee participants. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a Performance-Based Cost-Plus-Incentive Fee contract for a two-year base period from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2010, plus three unilateral options of one year each. A Pre-proposal Conference for the procurement will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, followed immediately by a walk-through of the facility. It is recommended that interested parties download the RFP prior to attending the Pre-proposal Conference and walk-through. All questions prior to the Pre-proposal Conference should be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, Linda MacClellan, MacClellan.Linda@dol.gov.
