- Description
- The United States Marshals Service has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance and disposal for seized/forfeited vehicles in the Northern District of New York. The vehicles will include production seized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures with a contract term consisting of a base year with four one-year options for a total of five years. This solicitaiton is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that Solicitation number DJMS-07-Q-0033 will be issued on July 27, 2007. The estimated response time will be August 27, 2007. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities web-site: www.fbo.gov. The FBO web-site provides downloading instructions. Future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed thorugh the FBO web-site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO web-site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
