- Description
- USCG MLCP proposes to contract for Dockside Repairs on USCGC SYCAMORE, a 225 foot buoy tender, home moorage of Cordova, AK. Work will start on 15 January and complete by 7 March 2008, at a contractor?s facility. Some of the work items are: Fender renewal on 23 ft ATON boat, scuttle replacement, plate type heat exchanger cleaning, stern tube seawater supply modification, ship service diesel generator cleaning, firemain valves overhaul/renewal, thruster generator clean and inspect, buoy and cargo crane boom removal, reinstall and test. Buoy and cargo crane luff cylinder repair, provide temporary services dockside. On or about 7 August 2007, an invitation for bid (IFB) will be issued. This acquisition is set-aside for small businesses only. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fedbisopps.gov. In order to open and download the specifications bidders must be registered at www.FedTeds.gov. Bidders are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to access theses documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested through FedTeds.
