- Description
- The Federal Air Marshal Service has a requirement for a fixed price design-build construction contract, to reconfigure the Shower/Locker Rooms at the Federal Air Marshal Training Center in Atlantic City, NJ. When complete, this requirement will provide additional showers and lockers in the Men's locker room. Specifically, the new design will maximize the number of lockers and showers in the Men's locker room without reducing the number of showers or lockers in the Women's locker room. To accomplish this objective, the scope of work is requesting the development and furnishing of design documents, including 30% progress prints, a construction schedule and a construction estimate breakdown for locker room reconfiguration. Offerors are advised that award will be made based upon a best value determination where technical proposals will be evaluated in addition to price. Therefore, the government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest price offered. This acquisition will be set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 236220. Contractor will be responsible for all removal and disposal of debris I/A/W/ local, state and federal regulations. The total estimated value for this project is between $250,000.00 and $425,000.00. Performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of contract price are required after notification of award.
