- Description
- NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, ALOSH, Morgantown, WV, Allergy and Clinical Immunology Branch of the Health Effects Labs Division intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Chromsys LLC, PO Box 15131, Alexandria, VA 22309 for a MSD Probe for direct MS. The MSD Direct Inlet Probe (DIP) is manufactured by Sim GubH. It is the only know device that can be coupled to our Agilent GC/MS for direct MS. Other DIPs can not run with the GC coupled to the MS, and thus practically requires a second MS due to the labor and time it takes to remove and reattach the GC when it is required for specific analyses. Responsible sources that believe they possess this item are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the posting date of this notice their capabilities statement and supporting information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages. Please forward capabilities and supporting information to: Rebecca Mullenax, Reference 000HCCCG-2007-45722, DHHS/PHS/CDC/NIOSH, 1095 Willowdale Road, Morgantown, WV 26505, or E-mail rmullenax@cdc.gov or fax to 304-285-6083. The government will review any/all capabilities statements and supporting information submitted and determine if other qualified sources do exist that could provide the requirement. Information received in response to this notice will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award of a federal contract. Vendors may register at www.ccr.gov. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), negotiations will be conducted with Chromsys LLC the only source and a purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted. Original Point of Contact Rebecca Mullenax, Purchasing Agent, Phone 304-285-5880, Fax 304-285-6083, Email RMULLENAX@CDC.GOV.
