Description: The Selway 223 Gravel Placement #3 project consists of roadbed reconditioning, purchasing aggregate (from a commerical source), loading, weighing, hauling, placing, watering and compacting 5,100 tons of crushed aggregate (gradation F) to a 4" depth on 2.5 miles of Forest Development Road #223. To reach the project area, travel east on Hwy 12 from Kooskia,ID to the junction of U.S. Highway 12 and Forest Development Road #223. Proceed up FDR #223 6.7 miles to the begining of the project, thence 2.5 miles to M.P. 9.2 and the end of project. Estimated price range for the project is $100,000-$250,000. Work on the project is estimated to begin approximately June 1, 2008.
