- THIS IS TO BE CONSIDERED A COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION. PR Number(s): 2840000127065OJ, FA810407R0255 Item: 0001 NSN: 2840000127065OJOJ DISK,COMPRESSOR,AIR P/N: 6845593, Description: This wheel has a machined shoulder near the inner diameter. This shoulder has curvic splines cut in them for mounting adjacent wheels to each other. Cooling air passages are provided in the rear shoulder of the 3rd stage wheel. The outer rims of the wheel are broached for mounting 3rd stage turbine blade. There are 89 3rd stage turbine blades installed on the 3rd stage turbine wheel. A cover plate sear is used on the front and rear sides of the theel to retain the 1st stage turbine blades in the wheel. However, all proposals received within THIRTY-days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.
