- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Order utilizing other than full and open competition acquisition procedures to Raytheon Company P.O. Box 11337, Tucson AZ, 85734-1337. The Order will be placed against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-04-G-5462 for the purpose of providing a technical study addressing the realignment of the existing Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile Hardware-in-the-Loop (ESSM HIL) simulation facility from Pt. Mugu, California to China Lake, California. The Contractor will study discrete alternatives for the configuration (hardware and software) of the HIL simulation with respect to the Radio Frequency (RF) Target Simulation system. The study shall address technical complexity and cost of fabrication, installation and integration of the system and its components. This procurement does not include any tasking associated with construction of the facility or procurement of the hardware or software to be installed into the facility. The Period of Performance for this order shall be from award to 15 November 2007. Any firm believing that they can provide the required services, may submit a written response, which shall be considered, clearly showing their ability to perform the work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and delivery of the product. The written response must include all supporting documentation describing the vendor?s capability to perform the study.
