- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision necessary to perform Lab HVAC Project at the VA Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia. Project shall demolish all ductwork and HVAC equipment on the 1st floor of Building 110A. After demolition is completed, furnish construction services to upgrade the existing HVAC serving the Lab area of this building. All HVAC work shall be installed as per the drawings and specifications associated with this project. The entire area of this floor will not be vacated during construction. The contractor shall be given 8 phases to complete the work - this phasing is shown on the contract drawings. Work includes structural supports for new Air Handler No. 5. Work also includes removal of acoustical ceiling grid, tiles, light fixtures, speakers, smoke detectors, and deactivation of fire alarm system. Contractor shall provide all electrical power for all new HVAC equipment as per the drawings. Work shall be completed within 270 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed being issued. The NAICS code is 238220 with a small business size standard of $13.0 M. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disable Veteran Owned Business. The cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. The solicitation will be available for download at the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about July 20, 2007. Bidders are responsible for downloading any and all documents pertaining to this solicitation from the website. Paper solicitations will not be issued.
