- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Federal Correctional Institution, Oxford, Wisconsin, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the provision of General Surgeon services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution Oxford, located in Oxford, Wisconsin. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in award of a single contract that shall consist of a 12 month base year, and the possibility of two option years. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The estimated number of sessions (a session equals one hour) is 72 sessions for the base year, and 72 sessions for each of the possible option years. The solicitation will be available on or about July 16, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about August 16, 2007. The solicitation is set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621111 and the applicable small business size standard is $9.0 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov.
