- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) has a requirement to purchase a Service Contract for factory replacement of all laser module electronics: replacement 25A host LSM computer from Carl Zeiss Microimaging, One Zeiss Drive, Thornwood, NY 10594. The instrument needs to be repaired so that it meets factory specifications which are maintained under the existing Carl Zeiss service contract. All responsible businesses that are capable of providing the Government service listed above may request a copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) in writing or by FAX to 301-480-8501 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-07-271 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is August 6, 2007. Request for copies of the RFQ must be submitted to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Two Democracy Plaza, Room 774B, Bethesda, MD 20817 or via email: griffinv@mail.nih.gov to the Attention: V. Lynn Griffin. FAX quotations must contain offerors name, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative. All requests for quotations must have a valid email address.
