- Description
- St. Joe Ranger District, Shoshone County, Idaho. Project is to design and install a functioning solar powered pumping system underground potable water supply at a remote Historic Ranger Station and requires: Complete installation of a photovoltaic submersible water pumping system with associated solar panels, and controls, piping, valves, meter, controls, and appurtenances; Construction of approximately 520 linear feet of temporary service road to the site; Installation of approximately 1100 linear feet of 1-1/2 inch diameter PE and galvanized pipe and connections to three buildings; Construction of a 50 SF well house over the existing well to house the pump controls, valving, meter, filter, and appurtenances; Installation of a 3000 gallon precast concrete potable water storage reservoir; Installation of approximately 380 ft of 4 inch PVC well liner. Location: Red Ives Historic Ranger Station, Shoshone County, Idaho, on the St. Joe Ranger District, Idaho Panhandle National Forests, located approximately 40 miles southeast of Avery, Idaho via Forest Highway 50 and Forest Road 218.
