- Z-CUSTER NF - Bridge Reconstruction Base Item 1- Upper Spring Creek Bridge, #2379A-0.3 consists of furnishing, delivering and installing structural lumber, including glued-laminated and treated lumber. Upper Spring Creek Bridge, #2379A-0.3 is located in Section 35, T8S, R104W, along Road #2379A (Spring Creek Road), approximately 8 miles south of Red Lodge, Montana. The project includes removal and disposal of existing timber decking and curbs, and installation of new glued-laminated deck, treated timber running planks, and glued-laminated curbs. The existing running planks are to be removed salvaged and stockpiled securely onsite. New object markers are to be installed at all bridge corners. Work also consists of structural excavation and backfill of the adjacent road approaches. The existing abutments are to be exposed and new treated timber backing planks are to be installed against existing backing planks. Backfill is to be compacted with a suitable mechanical tamper. Aggregate surfacing is to be furnished, delivered and compacted at the finished road approaches. Additive Item ? Pine Grove Campground Bridge, #2072A-0.1 consists of furnishing, delivering and installing structural lumber, including glued-laminated and treated lumber. Pine Grove CG Bridge, #2072A-0.1 is located in Section 28, T6S, R106W, along Road #2072A (Pine Grove Campground Road), approximately 20 miles south of Absarokee, Montana, off West Rosebud Road #2072. The project includes removal and disposal of existing timber railing and curbs, and installation of new treated timber running planks, and new glued-laminated curbs. Work also consists of minor structural excavation and backfill to reshape adjacent road approaches. Backfill is to be compacted with suitable mechanical tamper. Aggregate surfacing is to be furnished, delivered and compacted at the finished road approaches. New object markers are to be installed at all bridge corners. Work is estimated to begin in August 2007. Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. No Pre-Bid meeting will be conducted. The solicitation package will be available for Quoters approximately July 26, 2007 and should be downloaded from this website at that time.
