- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Estill, intends to issue solicitation RFQ-030503-0023-7 for the requirements of: QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE - MEAT. This solicitation is FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin July 1, 2007 and ends August 10, 2007. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 100 Prison Road, Estill, SC 29918. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. Kosher items offered on this bid must be certified by a nationally accepted Orthodox Jewish certification agency such as the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations ( The ?O-U?), Organized Kashrus Laboratories (The ?O-K?), ?Star-K? Kosher Certification, ?KOF-K? Supervision Central Rabbinical Congress (The ?CRC?), K?hal Adath Jeshurun (?Breuer?s or the ?KAJ?), or (the ?Oval KS?) Organization of Kashrus Supervision. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 7, 2007 and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 19, 2007. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations (AUG 2005) is included.
