- Description
- The Government intends to issue an award for Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, as 100% small business set aside. The government intends to award based on the lowest price technically acceptable source selection process as prescribed under 15.101-2. This requirement is being done under 13.5, and will be evaluated as prescribed under 13.106-2. This acquisition is to require lightweight modular berths, to be used aboard the USS UNDERWOOD (FFG 36). NAICS Code 332322 and Federal Supply Code (FSC) 5680 will apply. The Solicitation will be available June 11, 2007. Questions should be submitted via-email to Charles Loss; charles.o.loss@navy.mil. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at FEDBIZOPPS at http://www.fedbizopps.gov or NECO at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Lack of registration in the CCR database as required by FAR 4.1102 will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. There is no commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract as a result of this notice. Numbered Note 1 applies. Award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable, meeting the required delivery date of August 15th, 2007.
