- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division plans to solicit a proposal with intent to contract with the University of Notre Dame on restricted competition basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-3 which maintains an essential research capability provided by an educational institution, to develop and demonstrate an embedded network for detecting and tracking toxic chemical and biological agents into ground, water, and/or air as set forth in the Statement of Objectives of the Request For Proposal. A cost reimbursement type service contract is anticipated, with a one year period of performance, with options available for 4 additional one year periods of performance. Numbered Note 22 applies. DPAS rating is DO-A70.
