- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award Time and Materials, Cost Reimbursable, and Fixed Price Orders executed under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. These orders will provide for supplies and services necessary to repair, inspect, and/or modify items of government property within the Dual Mode Laser Guided Bomb (DMLGB) program. The Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) will cover the procurement of support/test equipment, engineering and technical services to investigate engineering issues, associated spare and repair parts, as well as special test equipment, software development and logistics studies. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control has a unique knowledge base of the Dual Mode Laser Guided Bomb (DMLGB) program as a result of its design, development, and modification of these weapon systems. Accordingly, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control at the following address: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, 459 Kennedy Drive, Archbald, PA. 18403. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving contract award will be registration in the DOD?s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
