Description
The Philadelphia District is issuing the above RFQ (Request for Quote) for various generators (commercial items). Requirement: purchase and delivery of all items required to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Item 0001 is for 20 each, 200 kw, 60 hz, st andby power; Item 0002 is for 20 each, 60 kw, 60 hz, standby power; item 0003AA is for 3 each, 10 kw, 50 hz, standby power; and item 0003AB is for 3 each, 10 kw, 60 hz, standby power; All required voltages specified in RFQ. 'Push Packs' for all items are r equired. Push Pack is defined as all service items for 6 months based on 24 hour, 7 days a week operation. All generators must be new (zero hours), rated at 50 degree Celcius, be equipped with sound attenuated enclosures, an automatic battery charger and block heaters that both operate at 120 VAC 60 hz (220 VAC, 50 hz for item 0004), have a minimum 8 hour fuel tank at full load, and rated to operate on JP8 fuel. Four (4) complete sets of operation/maintenance manuals (or 4 CDs with this information) must be furnished with each generator. Facsimile quotes, on company letterhead, are acceptable and should be sent to the attention of William A. Bailey at 215-656-6798. The quote must reference RFQ No. W912BU-07-T-0069. The RFQ will be posted to the FedTEDs website on/about Jul. 11, 2007. Catalog, or cut sheets, or equipment specifications must be submitted with offer. Offers received without this information will not be considered. Quotes are due by 11:00 a.m., Jul. 23, 2007. This is a commercial item act ion under FAR parts 12 and 13. Quotes will be evaluated on the basis of price and delivery with best available delivery requested. FAR Clauses 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, all apply to this action. Interested firms should include a completed copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications with their quote. Any U.S. contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Registry before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. Offerors from Qualifying Countries are also encouraged to register at the following web site.
