- The Contracting Office, Sierra Army Depot, intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for the acquisition of the following noted line item. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code and the small busine ss size standard for this procurement is 326199 and 500 employees respectively. The FSC Code is 8115. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All prospective quoters ar e responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation or other information. The solicitation wil be issued as a Request For Quotations (RFQ), for a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The Contracting Office, Sierra Army Depot, CA intends t o award a single, firm fixed price contract for: ITEM 0001 Plastic Skids, Skid shall be able to handle 30,000 pound loads and prove unbreakable during fork-tined impact. Approximately 84 inches long x 70 inches wide. Easy to clean, water resistant, chemic al resistant, UV stabilized, withstand temperature ranges from -20 degrees to +140 degrees Fahrenheit and have successfully completed ASTM testing. Pallet/Skid shall be fastened by 1/2 inch diameter galvanized steel fasteners to eliminate shear and pullout . Fasteners shall be countersunk to ensure a smooth skid deck.
