- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The AMC Specialized Contracting Branch intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 517310 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The solicitation number for this announcement is Request for Proposal (RFP) FA4452-07-Q-A067. The requirement is for eight (8) each Thrane & Thrane TT3080A Capsat Messenger Inmarsat Satellite Phone with the following features: Antenna: Directional patch array antenna. Manually adjustable elevation setting. Voice: 4.8 Kbps AMBE, 64 kbps broadcast. Async: Data Rate: 2.4 kbps, 56 kbps and 64 kbps (ensure 64 kbps is enabled). Euro IDSN Interface: ISDN NT1 S/T bus, ITU-T 1.430, ISO 8877 compliant RJ 45 connector. Antenna Connector: 50W QLA. Standard AC Adapter: 90-264 VAC, 47-63 Hz, 65W. Ambient Temperature: -25 C to +55 C operating; -40 C to +80 C storage. Mechanical Shock: 20g/11ms half-sine. Antenna Cable: QLA/QLA male, max. cable loss 10 dB at 1.66 GHz, 0.7W at DC. Rx Frequency Band: 1525.0 1559.0 MHz, Tx Frequency Band: 1626.5 1660.5 MHz. Channel Spacing: 1.25 kHz. RX Modulation: 5.6 kbps O-QPSK, SCPC (voice, data, fax), 6 kbps BPSK-TDM, 134.4 kbps 16QAM, SCPC (data). TX Modulation: 5.6 kbps O-QPSK, SCPC (voice, data, fax), 3 kbps BPSK-TDM, 134.4 kbps 16QAM, SCPC (data). 20 meter QLA to QLA antenna cable. Hard carrying case with foam. 3 year warranty. Items must be new, not reconditioned or refurbished. Delivery is as follows: HQ AMC/A2XR, 402 Scott Drive, Scott AFB, IL 62225. Total cost shall include all shipping and handling. Only one award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror who meets the requirement. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
