- This announcement constitutes a pre-solicitation notice. The intent is to notify potential Services Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns of the following acquisition to purchase a Brand Name or equal Bauer Unicus III Breathing Air Compressor (UNIII/25H-E3) plus the following parts for Buckley AFB, CO: remote fill connection enclosed hose reel, 75? hose, adjustable 6,000 PSI regulator; a minimum of four ASME code stamped air cylinders installed in an integral rack with bank cascade control; equipped with a carbon monoxide monitor w/calibration kit; This acquisition will result in award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) commodities award. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items will apply. The Government anticipates the issuance of a solicitation on 16 June 07. No paper copies will be issued. The opening and closing response dates will be 16 July to 20 July, 3:00 pm Mountain Standard Time. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333912 and the Standard Industry Classification (SIC) code of 3563, with a size standard of 500 employees.
