- Notice: This acquisition was previously posted under the Mid-Atlantic Regional Office, ALD-1764. The address location has changed to MXR-Field Acquisition Office. The work of this project shall consist of replacing pipe and ancillary equipment in the existing sanitary sewer system at the Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV. The majority of the existing system consists of a gravity system. Other work includes construction of new curb and gutter, with subsurface runoff conveyance facilities. There is a base bid with two additional alternates. Bidders are required to bid on the base bid and both alternates. Failure to do so may cause your bid to be determined non-responsive. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about July 23, 2007. With a projected bid opening date of August 23, 2007. These dates are subject to change. An organized site visit is scheduled on August 02, 2007. Please make arrangements to attend. Contractors will not have additional access to the site. The government intends to issue this solicitation and any amendments through the FedTeDS website at www.fedteds.gov in conjunction with www.fedbizopps.gov. All potential bidders are required to check this website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered online at www.ccr.gov. This solicitation is set-aside for 100% small business - See note No.1. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bid/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
