- Description
- The USDA, ARS, LSO has a requirement to purchase an automated cell isolator. This cell isolator must contain the following requirements: the instrument must be automated, must have a small foot print to fit in a laminar flow hood. The dimensions are not to exceed 610mm wide X 460mm deep X 460mm high. The weight shall not exceed 26kg. It must have at least 10 preset programs for automated cell isolation. It must be able to handle 4 X 109 cells per sample. Also it must be able to purify 2 X 108 magnetically labeled cells per sample. Quote and/or proposal must include training for users. The sample input must be between 0.20 and 50ml. The cell isolator must be 115V and perform both positive and negative cell separation. This procurement will be made pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(2) (C)(ii). No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties should submit written responses including prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the entire requirement and must be received in this office within 21 calendar days after publication of this notice. The government anticipates award of a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive/responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most price advantageous to the government. This acquisition is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is July 31, 2007. Payment: Any award made under this solicitation is subject to 31 CFR Part 208 that requires all payments made by the government to be made by electronic funds transfer. Vendors may meet this requirement by acceptance of government purchase card or providing a Vendor Express Number. If a company has not previously enrolled in the Vendor Express Program with USDA, they should call the National Finance Center at 1-800-421-0323 for an enrollment package. All offers must include with their quotation a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 available at www.arnet.gov/far.
